I just got done reading the Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. I have to say that I loved the story! I have listed it as one of my current favorites next to Hunter's Game. It has adventure, romance, fantasy, and an alluring tale that captures the reader in just the first paragraph that gives the introduction to the curse. Though the progress for the romance between Kelsey and Ren was a little daunting, I understood the situation the author had put them both in, and understood why Kelsey tried to tear herself away from the one she loved. (However, I would have steeled Ren all to myself! Personally, the author described the exact type of guy I would go for in Ren in appearance and personality. :D)
There is some amount of text that is in Hindi and I would suggest a translator as most of those text are not explained in the book, if you really want to find out what those mean, but they are really unimportant compared to the main story. It was just a tad frustrating since I could only understand some of it myself since my parents speak Urdu (which is similar to Hindi).
All in all, the book made my laugh, sad, giggle from girlish embarrassment, and made me feel my own heartbreak for the characters as they went through their journey of danger and awkwardness at love. Though not exactly tear-jerking, it does leave the reader an intense feeling of wanting more after just one volume. I can NOT wait for the next book, since I only read this book within 2 1/2 days! I give this book 4 1/2 stars!
This blog will contain information on beauty, skin care, art/craft, fashion, video games, manga/ manwha/ anime, and anything else I can think of. I hope this blog will be helpful to all those who view it. ^_^

Homework and Japan update
Why do teachers have to give homework during Spring Break?! There should be a rule against it, in my opinion. :D So far I have 3 art assignment (because I have 2 art classes) and one government assignment which looks confusing only because I don't understand some terms (I'll look those up later.) Since, once again my family doesn't have plans for a vacation, I am trying to get some spring cleaning done, my bedroom and living room are a mess!
I am also trying to make my banner for my Etsy store this week, and hopefully get my store up and running soon. I already have three items I want to sell, YAY! One was an old design from my sketches, the other two are fairly new ideas both for bracelets. I'm also trying to find patterns for a rucksack, I think it would be very fun to make one. I also have a recent Halloween costume idea (a bunny hood dress) that i didn't go through with because I didn't have cash. I think I'll go through with it now, and may be give one to my friend because she loved it at first glance and her birthday is soon. ^_^
On a different subject, Happy (late) White Day everyone! Novita, from a verypurpleperson.com, gives insight to the forth day after the earthquake on a recent update from her blog. She also states that she will be part of a raffle donation project in which the proceeds will go to Japan, and the winner receives a gift. For more info go to: http://jojoebi.blogspot.com/

It's SPRING BREAK!!
Oh, I have waited for this break for so long! I was starting to nod off in class and become lazy(though I kept my grades up, yay!), I really needed this break to recharge my mental batteries by catching up on my sleep. :D
On a different note, I donated $10 to the Red Cross today for Japan. I really am truly worried about the people over there, because I <3 Japan and their culture. They are very exotic to me and one day I wish to tour there. When I first heard about the earthquake in Japan I was doing laundry, gloating to my mother that I only have a month before I turn 20, when it came on Fox news. Hearing what was going on made me swallow a huge humility pill. I immediately thought of Novita, this girl's blog I follow online who has a family there. Luckily she and her family are safe after reading her recent post. You can find her at verypurpleperson.com
Also, I have pictures of my college's flower patch! They do this every year, but none of the plants in are garden have bloomed yet, just the tulips and a few tree flowers by our river.
